The legendary Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce returns to terrify guests on Friday, Sept. 27 and continues every weekend through November 2. Some of the worst nightmares imaginable will come to life in this 45-minute walk-through experience of haunted houses and scenes, ranging from a bloody slaughterhouse to an overrun zombie hospital.

Think it’s less scary outside? Think again!

The terror continues with a cemetery full of bodies that never seem to stay buried, a claustrophobia inducing cornfield, and much more. Lake Compounce will also host Behind the Screams on Saturday, Oct. 5 where guests can learn the tricks – and treats – of the trade.

A must for all Halloween fans, secrets will be shared about the ins and outs of the Haunted Graveyard and what it takes to put together the famed attraction. Seminars and demonstrations will start at noon on a variety of topics including: theatrical makeup, costume design, special light and sound effects, and so much more.

Behind the Screams admission also includes preferred parking, admission into Lake Compounce, unlimited Haunted Graveyard walk-throughs, free food and fountain soda, and a Sky Coaster ride.

Lake Compounce, decked in spine-chilling Halloween décor and teeming with scare actors roaming the Park, is open each night of the Haunted Graveyard, which will run weekends, including Fridays, through Saturday, November 2. New this year, Lake Compounce will open at 4 p.m. on Oct. 12, 19 and 26.
