Periodically, I’ll feature a commercial building that is for lease or for sale and asks you to tell me what you think would be the best use for it.
Forget what zone it’s in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there?
What would be the best use for the community?
Today’s Visions For Vacancies is 198 Burlington Ave. Bristol Connecticut.
198 Burlington Ave. is 2,000 square feet of retail space available in an established location.
Formerly used as a mini-mart, other ideal business options could include a restaurant, auto body, or any type of retail. The building is in good condition, and has central air and gas heat.
Recent improvements to the property include new flooring, and re-paving of a large section of the parking lot.
Gas pumps out front can be removed if tenant desires (gas tanks are already removed).
The property owner is looking for $2,500 per month.
So, what would you like to see there?
Tell me on the The Roundup’s Facebook page.
