For Goodness Sake, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides donated furniture and household goods to individuals and families transitioning to independent living, will have its 5th annual fundraising dinner, A Plate at the Table, on Thursday, May 16, at The Aqua Turf’s Wagon Room in Plantsville, from 6 to 9 pm.
The event will feature live music from the popular band, All Washed Up, a silent auction, many exciting raffle prizes, and of course, great food and a cash bar. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online at the For Goodness Sake website (www.forgoodnessake.org). No tickets will be sold at the door, so plan on getting them soon. The deadline for purchasing tickets is May 8.
