Armed Bristol man robs pharmacy for oxycodone, gets arrested: Lawyer says to be lenient because he choose a female pharmacist

According to Mass Live: A defense lawyer said a Bristol man took care during his armed robbery of a Springfield pharmacy to put as few people in fear as he could.

“He told the pharmacist to get him oxycodone, which the pharmacist did. By choosing a man to rob instead of a female pharmacist, by keeping the knife away from the man’s face, and by doing the robbery away from others in the store, Skinnon was being considerate, his lawyer said.”

The Judge declared himself unimpressed by that argument.

Skinnon plead guilty to armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon and reckless operation of a motor vehicle in connection with the robbery and police pursuit in 2017.
