Mum Festival Volunteers Working Hard Behind The Scenes — Tons of New Vendors Lined Up

Mum Festival Committee

The Mum Festival is quintessentially Bristol’s Town Fair.

In recent years, the Mum Festival Committee has adopted a new way of thinking about what the Festival is, and what it should be.

The bigger, the better approach appears to be the right formula for the Festival now. The last few years produced record turnouts and participating vendors.

To make the enhanced event workout, the Mum Festival Committee has a huge task at hand to pull off another successful Festival.

If the Festival is a win, Bristol is a win.

The Mum Festival Committee posted “Hats off to this awesome team that has the absolute hardest job at the Mum Festival, bar none!”

The job is lining spaces for vendors, industrial generators, light poles, stage set up, a 100’ big top tent, and more seating tents.”

Additionally, they combat the scorching heat, and whatever else mother nature threw at them.

“We all looked like Lobsters when we finally called it a day. It takes two full days two completely line off the huge Memorial Boulevard Field. Many of these individuals take the week off as well.”

This year’s Festival runs from September 20th – 23rd and admission and parking are free.

“We’ve had a great response from vendors once again this year, said Andy Adams, Mum Festival Vendor Chair. “There is truly something for everyone and we welcome the community to come down and enjoy all the offerings. We’ve even added a handmade artisan section this year to the festival.”

When it comes to the variety of vendors this year’s Mum Festival will feature a mouth-watering line up of 26 food trucks and booths.
