Among the crew is the mutinous seadog Long John Silver, who has his own plans for the loot.
Inspired by the hit TV show, The Great British Bake Off, Burlington Library will now be offering a program for all the home bakers out there. Simply check out a cookbook from our collection and bake a recipe from it that meets the theme of the month. Bring your dish in for others to sample. We’ll review the recipes and cookbooks we used and compile a list to share with one another.
Our challenge for September is to bake a dessert featuring fruit.
A great social experience for both children and caregivers! Learn Nursery rhymes, do finger plays, sing songs, play instruments, dance, play with the parachute, and listen to a story. The program is followed by free play.
Diane (Diane Keaton) is recently widowed after 40 years of marriage, Vivian (Jane Fonda) enjoys her men with no strings attached, Sharon (Candice Bergen) is still working through her decades-old divorce, and Carol’s (Mary Steenburgen) marriage is in a slump after 35 years. The lives of these four lifelong friends are turned upside down after reading the infamous ’50 Shades of Grey,’ catapulting them into a series of outrageous life choices.
