Powerball Debacle — Cruise Prizes Remain Unclaimed

File photo

From the beginning of the Powerball Power Cruise promotion, the CT Lottery had expected, planned, and hoped to award 25 Power Cruise prizes to its players.

Since players were anonymous at the time of purchase, Power Cruise entries were generated through a Drawing Entry Ticket.

Players were required to hold onto their Drawing Entry Tickets and view winning numbers here to determine if they were winners. Winners needed to contact the CT Lottery and visit Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill to claim their Power Cruise prize.

CT Lottery Players did not need to register their Powerball Power Cruise tickets to enter the promotion. Registering tickets provided contact information for the CT Lottery to reach Power Cruise winners if their Entry Number was drawn.

Winners who opted to register their tickets were notified by email, mail, or phone call.

The CT Lottery repeatedly reached out to players through various methods to promote winning ticket numbers, however some of the twenty-five Power Cruise prizes remain unclaimed. Additionally, we have drawn 31 alternate winning numbers in order to reward the remaining Power Cruise prizes.

Remaining prizes need to be claimed by December 5, 2017 in order to provide the Cruise Ship guest manifest information and finalize travel arrangements.

The Cruise is scheduled to depart on January 15, 2018.
