Chic Miller continues to win the fight on blight

If you live in the West End or near the Wolcott line, you are fully aware of the current condition of the former Chic Miller. If you don’t, this is how it looks now. Not much has changed.

The last update reported in the Press was THIS back in June of last year.

In 2011 the city adopted “A Plan For The West End”. Take a Closer Look at the West End Neighborhood Study.

The study discusses Chic Miller in detail.

While countless blighted properties continue to come down, this one seems to be winning the battle against the cities aggressive fight on blight.

Hopefully something will happen soon and the city can provide an update.

  1. The city had the opportunity some 6-7 years ago when the state made some money available
    could have moved the fire station there, made more space available downtown.
